Cittadella is the only walled city in the whole of Europe to have a fully passable, elliptical-shaped Mediaeval 'Camminamento di Ronda'. The walls date back to 1220 and have recently undergone restoration, making it possible to visit them with a panoramic walkway 15 metres above ground.
For years we have been producing systems for static and dynamic structural monitoring for different types of buildings and structures, bridges and wind turbines. Our company actively collaborates with institutions and companies to study, through surveys, these degenerative phenomena on historical or valuable buildings.
Our structural monitoring system, Structural-X, can monitor different types of structures 24 hours a day with permanently installed systems on site and also offers the possibility of remote control. Structural-X is a line of hardware and software products for static and dynamic monitoring of vibrations and deformations.
In the case of Cittadella, the monitoring system includes compact measuring boxes connected wirelessly to each other and a centralised collection system at the client's premises.
