ASHRAE 2015 Annual Conference has a technical program that features a strong focus on the design, construction and operation of High Performance Buildings and Refrigeration. The technical program rounds out with “core” programs on HVAC & R systems, equipment, fundamentals and applications.
Programs within the conference focus on advanced design guidance, modeling, operation and optimization, and Indoor Air Quality, which are key aspects of high performance buildings.
The need for “real” engineering as applied to operation, maintenance and operational optimization or “commissioning” can bring increased comfort and offers huge financial returns. Mobile, moisture, data centers, weather data and BIM are topics covered in the Modeling throughout the Building Life Cycle Track.
The Advanced Energy Design Guides have been available for ten years. The Moving Advanced Energy Design Guidance to the Mainstream Track presents sessions describing some of the work in this area.
The third annual Research Summit brings together researchers to present and discuss the latest research. Papers and presentations describing ASHRAE-related research as well as papers from societies and associations worldwide are presented.
