IRS and National Instruments have been recognized with the AI Awards 2015, winning the first place in the Utility Category. This contest has been organized by Automazione Industriale, an ECM Italian magazine. Gialuca Bachiega from IRS presented the winning application: Monuments Structural Monitoring in Verona City.
This application has been recognized as one of the first working example of “ Smart City ” application helping the city of Verona in the challenges related with predictive maintenance and distributed structural monitoring. The project adopted IRS platform for structural monitoring Structural-X. It is a product specifically suited for long term and in situ applications based on hardware and software from National instruments.
Year after year IRS reinforce his presence in the Automation segment and the collaboration with National Instruments is a good reference for the upcoming challenges related with the IoT and Structural Health Monitoring.
