On Tuesday 22 October, in the magnificent setting of the Botanical Garden of the University of Padua, the prestigious BRAINS meet DIGITAL ENTERPRISES will take place, organised by the Human Inspired Technology Research Center and Digital Meet with the support of theUniversity of Padua and its infrastructures.
HIT, the well-known research centre of the University of Padua, with over 70 researchers and scientists from 9 different departments, studies the relationship between people and new technologies at an international level, designs intelligent living environments, works with virtual simulators and cognitive neurotechnologies, explores the use of artificial intelligence in the field of health and accessibility, investigates the secrets of online communication and digital marketing, develops endless design solutions for innovative interfaces, plans the workplace of the future and computer-based training and education systems.
For the occasion, together with the Digital Meet, HIT is preparing the second edition of the HIT | Digital Meet Young Researcher Award, the prize recognised by the HIT Research Centre through a committee of 20 academics, industrialists and other stakeholders, to the best young researchers who are working towards a doctorate or other research activity (cheque or grant) at the University. In addition, in cooperation with local companies and associations, HIT is organising for the opening ceremony of the Digital Meet 2019 a spectacular showcase of virtual, augmented, 360° 3D video environments and innovative interfaces used in the fields of archaeology, civil engineering, architecture, culture, ergonomics, tourism, education and entertainment. The virtual experiences will accompany us during the evening reception where PhDs will also be presented, exhibits will be shown and aperitifs and dinner will be served.
