Smart Chiller Test Platform

Over the past 20 years, IRS has developed and supplied test systems for chillers all over the world. The testing systems are based on a hardware and software structure customised for the customer.

The Smart Chiller test platform performs better quality tests by controlling user-defined parameters, capturing sensor measurements and storing them on databases, analysing data in transient and steady state, understanding product quality, verifying product conformity to specifications, and generating test reports and certificates.

The Smart Chiller test platform certifies the compliance of products with local and global standards.

IRS can provide the entire structure for testing refrigeration machines: climate chamber, air handling system, power supply, data acquisition and control, customised test sequence and sensor specifications.

Drastic reduction of testing time

The Smart Chiller test platform uses algorithms that drastically reduce the testing time of chillers in production. The platform has reduced the testing time of chillers with standard methodology by up to 75 per cent.

Energy saving

In addition to the functional testing of conventional chillers, IRS can offer an innovative test cycle that enables energy savings of 50 per cent achieved by using a better understanding of chiller operating conditions and reduced testing times.
