Despite advances in cancer treatment, resistance to chemotherapy drugs and inter-individual differences in sensitivity to drug treatment remain a substantial obstacle to recovery for many patients.
The TICheP project developed an innovative technological framework for the development of personalised chemotherapy that allows treatment with reduced toxicity.
The study used ovarian cancer as a model, but has the potential for extension to other tumour types.
