Actuating Subjects:
Electrolux, Danieli, I.R.S. Srl

Regions Involved:
Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia

Addresses:
Via Vigonovese 81, 35127 Padova
Via Roveredo No. 20/B, 33170 Pordenone (PN)

Project Objectives:

The SOFTMod project focuses on developing innovative manufacturing processes through the introduction of workstation sensitization. Through real-time data collection and analysis, the goal is to identify and predict deviations in production, thereby improving efficiency and accuracy.

The project is part of a broader initiative funded under Spoke 3 of the iNEST Interconnected Northeast Innovation Ecosystem (CUP: G23C22001130006), in line with the PNRR's mission to create and strengthen innovation ecosystems to promote sustainability.

Main Focus Areas:

  1. Smart Manufacturing: Integration of sensor technologies in manufacturing workstations.
  2. Process Modeling: Advanced algorithms to analyze data and predict deviations.
  3. Sustainability: In line with the NRP's mission to promote sustainable industrial practices through innovation ecosystems.

NextGenerationEU funding:
The SOFTMod project is part of the European NextGenerationEU program, which aims to promote smart manufacturing, mechatronics and robotics, under the RT2.1 framework.
