On Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024 at the MeasureIT-organized event "Test & Measurement Days 2024" regarding technologies, skills and applications in the demanding field of automated test and measurement, Giulio Bondani and Gianluca Bacchiega presented the topic"Multi-modal Measurement Techniques for Test and Inspection."
They showed how multimodal measurements and advanced algorithms integrate data from Vision, Acoustics, Vibration and Electrical. Specifically, the key technologies are: Sensor Fusion, Edge Computing, AI & Machine Learning.
All this is to demonstrate how faster and more accurate testing can be done, with practical applications on production lines and in laboratories.
